Afternoon Tea & PICNIC Days - just for you

  • ​Have your picnic or Afternoon Tea here - There are plenty of beautiful Picnic areas available throughout the grounds including benches, Cabins, Summerhouse, outdoor tables, Teahouse and Orangery

  • Access Tennis Court, equipment and teacher can be arranged

  • Explore the beautifully designed Oriental, Mediterranean and Greek themed gardens

  • Bring your own Picnic Food and Drink, or enjoy afternoon Tea and cake with us

Walk & Talk with Charles Dickens

  • Learn about the history of the Workhouse and what if was really like

  • Explore the grounds throughout you visit

  • Tennis Court is available, equipment and teacher can also be arranged

  • Wonderful Story and Animal trails

  • Bring your own food and drinks

  • Kids lunch boxes and refreshments can be arranged

  • Lazer tag / zap zone equipment available to use
